In particular, self-care advice; when to see a doctor; and how to find a highly trained specialist. The membership includes physicians(D.C., D.O., Ph.D. & M.D.), PT's, ATC's, exercise physiologists and kinesiologists.

Web Site Goals

This website is focused on prevention, care, and rehabilitation of potentially disabling muscle and joint conditions. While relief of symptoms is always a reason health care consumers seek health care advice, modern scientific evidence indicates that the cause of most pain is functional in nature. Functional sources of pain include decreased activity tolerance and decreased fitness. For this reason this site focuses on the following functional goals:

  • increasing activity tolerance in individuals suffering acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
  • procurement of self-care skills for controlling and coping with recurrent or chronic musculoskeletal conditions
  • increasing fitness as a rehabilitation and preventive tool
  • increasing performance capacity for elite athletes
  • helping you to identify a clinical rehabilitation specialist in your area
  • fall & frailty prevention in the elderly
  • prevention of obesity & diabetes in the youth
  • prevention of overuse syndromes in the youth
